Inbound and Outbound Sales
Companies are often trying to understand whether they should deploy an inbound or outbound sales strategy. But what’s the difference?
Inbound: This is when a potential client comes to you via a website form, social media link, information request, or any other similar marketing channel. Many companies these days have an inside sales rep to handle these kind of sales.
Outbound: This is when your sales rep pursues the prospect. This is often referred to as outbound prospecting. This process begins with creating a list of prospects and then pursuing them using a combination of phone, email, social media, and other methods.
